With a body design that makes you feel the agility and elemental pipe shape steering pole, it is shaped into be Race Track Ready.
Excellent Hull Performance
The newly designed compact and front-wide hull allows various customers to enjoy stable straight riding performance and sharp, stable turns.
In addition, it is finished with a high-performance hull that can be used for racing.
The 144mm Jet pump of EX model is adopted and exclusively modified.
The impeller and top-loader intake are exclusively developed. They make enable to flow more clean water into the pump, and contribute the acceleration performance (hook-up) and top speed.
Adjustable Steering pole
Stylish and easy-to-handle pipe shape is adopted.
The length of the pole can be adjusted in three-stages (up to 50mm/2 inch) according to the rider’s body type and riding style.
Newly structure of the hatch makes enable to take more air into the craft, and prevents water entering.
In addition, the ventilation is located on both the hatch and deck, and they are connected. This structure achieves weight reduction (compared to the previous model about -1.7kg) and better handling than previous model.
The foot tray is wider than the previous model (floor area +36%) , so the rider can choose the riding stance as they like. Also the Hydro-Turf mat is adopted. There is Reboarding Holder in the center of the tray, which makes easier reboarding from the water to support yourself by putting hands on it.
The engine of the new SuperJet is 1,049cc, 3cylinder, 4stroke, Yamaha TR-1 Marine Engine, which is used in EX. With the possibility of being mounted on SuperJet as well, it was developed with the aim of light weight and small size from the beginning. Air intake box and Electrical system were newly designed for SuperJet whose engine room is smaller than EX. This surprisingly compact and lightweight unit packs a real punch and offers lively acceleration and great top-end power, along with economy and reliability.
Due to the characteristics of the 3 cylinder engine, it is possible to obtain a linear torque feeling for throttle operation.
The light weight also brings superior handling, agility and balance.
Adjustable Nozzle Angle
It is available to adjust the nozzle angle in two-stages（±16°/±19°）, so the rider can choose the steering response depend on the preference.
VaRTM(Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding)
A method for forming body.
After the mold is set to optimize and align the glass fibers, the resin is pressurized and uniformly spread on the unit. It leads stable strength of the body. And volatile gas does not come out easily by the closed molding. It is environmentally friendly.
And the method of high speed resin infusion is adopted.
L-Mode can be settled by operating engine switch.
By controlling the engine speed, the maximum speed and acceleration performance can be suppressed, and optimal performance can be obtained regardless of the rider’s skill. It can be enjoyed by a wide range of customers.
This is the Yamaha’s first stand-up model equipped with a meter.
The fuel gauge, warning and L-Mode can be displayed.
